My Powerbook turned itself on

This morning, my 1 year old powerbook turned itself on. It was shut down AND the screen was shut as well. It went from being completely off to being very on… Although the screen did not seem to want to turn on. So I had to shut it down again and turn it on. Am I the only person to have had this problem before ? How strange is that ? I mean, I have seen a powerbook waking up by itself, because something happened, with the power plug, or the internal mechanism going crazy. But turned on completely ? It’s a first. Other than this very bizarre problem, the powerbook has been greeaat! I am very pleased. I am impatiently waiting for the time when they come out with the powerbook G5. Although, I will probabily wait for a couple of years before buying a new powerbook. The one I have is fine and I need a new home machine very soon. Anyways. Just thought I would share with you my esotherical experience this morning.

Beardcam #8

Your beard is… long!” hahahaha! Trop drole.

True Lies [7.2 out of 10]

True Lies 1994

Director: James Cameron
Written by: Claude Zidi, Simon Michaël, and Didier Kaminka.

I just finished watching “True Lies”, in which Arnold Schwarzenegger is Harry Tasker, a super spy for some top agency in the U.S. It was released in 1994 and is directed by James Cameron, the same guy who produced Terminator 2, Point Break, and Titanic. He’s got an impressive list of movies to his name. Frankly, I liked True Lies because it is one of the good old ’90s movies where they knew how to mix action and comedy. It’s funny at times and kinda crazy at others. Of course, the action is kinda old for today’s standards, but I liked it nonetheless.

Length : 144 minutes

Sending my First V4

I’ve done it. I sent my first V4 at the gym today. I am proud to say that I worked on this 6 move wonder for about a week and a half and managed to send it today. Yesterday was the day I figured out how to do it. It was a “simple” weight transfer problem. I mean there was more to it than that, but it was definitively much easier when I figured that out.

Having said that, there is only two more problems that I can work on before this gym is too easy for me. Yeah, the problem setters only set mostly below V4. There are two V5s and that’s it. So I will see what happens. My strenght is growing soo fast because I train on a regular basis. I should be able to climb the 23s (hopefully 25s) easy when I start lead climbing with Bonnie, when she gets here. It would be nice because I have so much to climb on my trip to Autralia and Thailand. Can’t wait. I will keep posting some my newest feat.

I need major feedbacks from everybody because I am not sure about the new menu thing. J’l'ai changer pour toi John!!! Est-ce que c’est pour le mieux ? Anyways, I hope you guys like it.

Oh and the photoblog is still coming up. How do you like the new beardcam comments ? I’m off to watch some CYE a little bit more. Everybody should get into that show, it is hilarious!!
