Summer weekend at the cottage
We took this last weekend off from climbing up north and went to the cottage. I think our bodies appreciated the rest! Time at the cottage consists of card games, board games, lots of swimming, and lots of eating. This time around, it even included a midnight stroll to the pond to take photos of the stars. It was my first time at the pond during the night and it won’t be the last!! Enjoy the photos!

Salut Miguel, ta photo des étoiles la nuit est tout simplement magnifique. Ca me fait penser a quel point nous sommes bien au chalet, le calme, la paix, la solitude; rien que d’y penser je relaxe.

Salut maman!! Merci pour le beau message. J’ai pensé à toi quand je prennais les photos en fin de semaine. Je savais que tu aimerais bien ça les voir. Le lac la nuit est vraiment cool à voir… c’est un peu difficile de s’y rendre, mais c’est vraiment calme. On a même entendu un castor quand on était là!!

@Jon: Just a small mushroom on the way up. I almost missed it and then it just kind of popped. I love the colors on that one!
@phil: Thanks! That one is a 7 exposures HDR composition. I love that technique. And for that one, i tried to remove some of the colors around the cart but keep the texture on it.
